Academy Juniors: Spring 2022 League Soccer
The Academy Juniors League (AJL) provides a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for young players to come to learn the game of soccer through training and gameplay. We help players aged 4 to 10 grow in the sport by introducing them to formalized weekend game-play in addition to weekly training sessions.
Participants in the Academy Juniors League practice once per week in sessions facilitated by parent volunteer coaches and supported by Academy Directors. Our specialized curriculum helps players grow their technical skills and apply these skills in age-appropriate game-day environments.
Teams are co-ed and formed by birth-year and player requests
Practices are held once per week for 50 minutes and games are played at LouCity/Racing Academy fields.
You will register for your player's age group and then choose your 1st and 2nd preferred practice day and time from the following options

Games will be at the Lou/City Racing Academy fields and can start as early as 8 am and as late as 10 am.
Teams play 8 games per season.
*1-2 league games will be played at Thurman Hutchins Park due to events taking place at the Academy fields.
Volunteer Coach:
All teams require the support of a volunteer coach. Volunteer coaches will:
Lead the facilitation of all practices with the support of Academy directors.
Lead the facilitation of all games, including player management, substitution oversight
Manage team communication, including game reminders and team organization
Model and live by PITCH values
Volunteer coaches will receive:
Pre-season coach education in preparation for the start of the season
A volunteer coach shirt
